Superb welcome, amazing room so very comfortable with attention to detail of all your possible needs! Really comfy bed and pillows!! The BEST accommodation I have ever stayed in .. superb breakfast! A real treat! I definitely want to return

Beautiful small guesthouse. Jocelyn and Carl were wonderful hosts, we received the warmest of welcomes. Right in the centre of Dorchester therefore convenient for all the local amenities. Our room was gorgeous and spotless. It came with a small and very useful fridge, a welcome surprise. Breakfast again was top drawer and again the owners were so friendly and attentive. We stayed two nights and it really did feel like a home from home ( yes it really was that good). Finally a mention for our bed, it was one of the most comfortable we have slept in away from home. Highly recommended and our thanks to Jocelyn and Carl.

We stayed here as we were visiting family and we have stayed at a lot of places in this area, but now so glad we have found this little gem. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Karl, a lovely man and host who made us feel very welcome and at home from the start, he showed us to our room which was in immaculate condition and i was very pleased that included in the room was an iron , ironing board, fan and toiletries, mini fridge with water and milk, to my husbands delight as he hates UTA milk for his coffee. The cleanliness of the place was outstanding. Karl was front of house of which he done with great ease, we let them know the day before what we would like for breakfast and selected a time which suited us both, Jocelyn made the most amazing cooked breakfast we have tasted and there was fruits, yogurts and juice. Cannot fault this lovely hotel and hosts, great service and nothing too much trouble, even giving us a lift up to our daughters to pick up the car, 5 service plus, Very very highly recommended and it will now be our place to stay on our visits.

I recently stayed at this lovely hotel, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the host was incredibly welcoming and kind, making me feel right at home. Their warmth and hospitality truly set the tone for a fantastic stay. One of the standout features was the breakfast – absolutely delicious! There was a wide variety of fresh, tasty options, and everything was prepared with such care. It was the perfect start to each day. The bed in my room was beyond comfortable – hands down one of the best I've ever slept in. I woke up feeling well-rested and refreshed every morning, which really added to the overall experience. If you're looking for a place that combines comfort, excellent service, and a great breakfast, this is it. I will definitely be returning!

Perfectly located to explore Dorchester. The hosts Karl and Jocelyn were really friendly and flexible and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. If you are staying in Dorchester for whatever occasion, I'd highly recommend you choose to stay here. Clean, well equipped with warm friendly vibes.

I really enjoyed my stay here at Westwood House. The rooms were lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. Karl was very hospitable and did everything possible to make my stay as comfortable as could be. Eggs Benedict in the morning with delicious. Parking is really close by and Karl recommended a beautiful walk down to the Roman Town House and by the river. I would absolutely stay here again.

I stayed here at the beginning of August for one night. The room was so beautiful and the bed was super comfy. We placed our order the night before for breakfast and it was superb. The atmosphere was so welcoming and the hosts were lovely including their dog. Would definitely come back and stay longer.
